You are truly loved

If no one has told you today that you are loved, let me be the first to tell you today, you are loved. If no one has told you today that you are appreciated, let me be the first to tell you that you are appreciated for every thing that makes you who you are. If no one has told you that you are special today, let me be the first to tell you that you were so special that God died for you and numbered every hair on your head and catches every tear you cry. He knows all your fears, flaws, hopes, dreams and joys and loves all of you because he made you; which makes you special, a child of God. Our God is bigger than anything we face and loves us more than we could ever imagine. We can get through anything we need to as long as we lean on Him and trust in Him.❤️

This is a message that all need to hear, but maybe more so than most, survivors of human trafficking. They have been broken, used, abused and violated. Their hearts, minds and spirits have been broken. This is a pain only God can heal. There are so many reasons women and children are sold into slavery. They are seen as less than, extreme poverty and little assistance causes people to do desperate things, they were tricked, they were coerced, etc. It all boils down to need being greater than resources and self worth and greed being greater than respect for human life and care for fellow man. People need to know they are loved unconditionally and that there are people out there who care and who can and will help them. And most of all, they need to know there is a God who loves them unconditionally and can provide far beyond their greatest desires and needs! This is why I am in the movement to end human trafficking. Not just to be there for the survivors, but to prevent it. And to encourage others to help prevent it. Human trafficking is an evil that can and should be eradicated from this earth. This is not just a social problem, this is a heart problem. This is a greed problem. And where there is great need, there will be people there to try to take advantage. Join me in the fight to end this and be a voice for the victims of this crime, won’t you?
